Medical losses are expected to mount as the global pandemic intensifies, some directly attributable to COVID-19 and others indirectly related. It is well known in the field of economics that medical charges are not indicative of reasonable value, the typical standard for medical losses. John E. Schneider, PhD of KDC Sponsor, Avalon Health Economics, will present some background and methodology on how to convert medical charges from past and future medical bills to reasonable value.
