Please join KDC on Friday, April 16 at 12:00 p.m. eastern time for a virtual roundtable discussing the case of Watson v. United States Liability Insurance Company, which was just recently argued before the Kentucky Supreme Court in February.  InWatson, counsel grapples with the question of when a bad faith cause of action accrues for purposes of determining whether the five-year statute of limitations has run.  Our panelists will discuss the background of the case, the Court of Appeals Opinion, the oral arguments before the Supreme Court, and the potential implications of the Supreme Court’s decision once rendered.  Attendees will have an opportunity throughout our program to openly engage with the panelists and one another as we discuss the accrual of bad faith claims in Kentucky and what may be ahead for those practicing insurance defense.

Many thanks to Langdon Worley of Sturgill, Turner, Barker & Moloney for organizing this program.  Mindy Barfield, Darrin Banks and Jamie Dittert will serve on the panel for this program, moderated by Ashley Brown.

In response to some prior questions, we will not be recording these sessions and we do not apply for CLE credit.

No registration is required, just a KDC membership.  We will be sending out a link a day or two before the program that can be used if you are able to join us.  Also, if you visit the Members Only section of the website, the link is posted there as well.
