Join us September 29-30 in Lexington KY for the Fall Seminar, Annual Meeting and Awards Luncheon.     The event will be held at the Marriott Lexington City Center located in downtown Lexington.   The KDC Board Meeting and Young Lawyer Boot Camp will take place on Thursday September 29.    YL Boot Camp presentations include Case Management, Firm Expectations and Ethical Billing, Deposition Practicalities and Mediations.

On Friday, September 30 you will participate in the award winning "Anatomy for Lawyers" workshop presented by Samuel D. Hodge, Jr., PhD, P.E., mediator/arbitrator with the Dispute Resolution Institute and Professor of law and anatomy at Temple University.   Musculoskeletal disorders are the largest category of workplace injuries and account for the majority of personal injury claims. Knowing the real mechanism of a back, shoulder or knee injury or what is and is not trauma related is crucial to your success as an advocate. In plain English, and with a sharp focus on the challenges you face, Sam Hodge will keep you in stitches as he explains the nuances of the spine and upper and lower extremities is an easy-to-understand manner that will allow you to better evaluate or defend your case. This entertaining and valuable journey will take you inside the human body through videos, illustrations and animations as you learn the parts of the body that are most susceptible to injury and those that are not. Professor Hodge will explain how diagnosis are made and the particulars of medical tests and surgical procedure from the unique perspective of a very successful litigator and teacher.

Up to 9 CLE credits (including 1 ethics credit) have been requested for this event.

In addition to the educational programs, you will have the opportunity to visit with KDC sponsors in the exhibit area.    KDC Award recipients will be recognized during the luncheon on Friday.
