Join us for an ethics CLE webinar presented by A.J. Singleton. A.J. is a Member in Stoll Keenon Ogden’s Lexington office and has been with the firm since 2000. He is part of the Business Litigation practice, concentrating on Business Torts and Trust & Estates. He served as the firm’s Deputy General Counsel from 2007 to 2018, when he became the firm’s General Counsel.  A.J. is a frequent lecturer on law industry issues, including conflicts of interest, client confidentiality, attorney-client privilege, law firm advertising and risk management, and law firm departures.

This program is designed as a refresher for attorneys in private practice on conflicts of interest as founded in Rules 1.7, 1.9, 1.10, and 1.18 of the Kentucky Rules of Professional Conduct. It will also explore how effective drafting of engagement letters can assist in conflict analysis by specifying the identity of the client and the scope of the representation. The program will also explore declined client letters, conclusion of representation letters, “I’m not your lawyer” letters, and conflict waivers.

This one-hour webinar will be submitted for CLE credit of 1 hour for KY, TN, IN, and OH.

$15 for members; $100 for non-members.

ZOOM log-in information will be shared after registering for the event.
